I am like a giddy kid right now with CES in full swing.  So far there have been quite a few nice surprises, but none as awesome as the Motorola Axtrix 4G.  I decided to go ahead and bring you a Motorola Atrix Review to give you the most information I can about this new smartphone.  I guess right now it is just a Motorola Atrix 4G Preview, but as soon as I get my hands on this powerful super phone, I am going to bring you the full review.  Check out the juicy details below!

I literally believe that the Motorola Atrix 4G can completely change the game, and this super phone is going to be in it’s own category.   It is taking incredibly powerful processing speed and combining with the blazing fast 4G network to make a smartphone that can meet all your mobile computing needs.

This phone or laptop is going to be very cool.  It is going to come with it’s very own laptop dock.  This is not some device that simply plugs into your laptop.  This is going to be an LED screen with keyboard and track pad that the Motorola Atirx 4G will plug into and essentially become a laptop computer.  In many cases this is going to be able to replace your laptop and phone.  Imagine one device to rule them all.  (Yes that was a dorky lord of the rings quote.)

While using the webtop application users will have the ability to run Android applications in a window while browsing all their favorite websites on a full Firefox desktop browser.  They will have the ability to make phone calls and send instant messages at the same time.  Calls will have the ability to continue uninterrupted if Motorola ATRIX 4G is removed from a dock. You will be able to surf the web, view your favorite social network, and use HTML5 web-based applications and supported cloud computing services. • The first companion dock is called the Motorola Atrix HG multimedia dock.  It is going to have three USB ports and an HDMI port that will enable connections to a keyboard, mouse, speaker and HDMI compatible monitor.  This will come in quite handy when you are in your home.  It gives you much greater flexibility to interact with your mobile device for gaming and multimedia projects.

• The other companion dock is the one I already mentioned above. The laptop dock has a very thin design sporting an 11.6 inch screen with a full keyboard and stereo speakers.  It has a 36Wh three cell battery that can give you up to eight hours of batter life.  It only weighs 2.4 pounds, this laptop dock makes mobility pretty easy.  Much better than an actual laptop.

Believe me when I tell you people that this phone is a beast among small forest creatures.  This phone is going to dominate all other smartphones on the market right now.  I feel bad even calling it a phone, I should be calling it a mobile multimedia monster.

UPDATE: Jan 26, 2011

So far, Motorola has not released any pricing info for the Atrix or its accessories, but today BGR is reporting that according to tipsters the laptop dock will be priced at a reasonable $150.  The sub $200 price range is important for the laptop dock, since many netbooks are available for around $200.  If the $150 price tag is accurate, the laptop dock will likely prove to be a solid alternative to traditional netbooks.

To be honest, the price has not been completely unveiled yet.  There has been speculation, but that is all it is right now.  No one can quite guess what the price of this bad boy will be quite yet.  I hate to guess, but I would say probably 199.99 with a two year contract.

Motorola Atrix Review- Motorola Atrix Release date.

BGR also got word from another tipster that the laptop dock will be released on March 1st along with the Atrix itself.  Neither of these rumors have been confirmed, of course.  However, Motorola has committed to a Q1 release for the Atrix, and we’d expect to hear something soon as March quickly approaches.

There has not yet been an official release date yet.  It is expected to be released withing the first quarter of 2011.  I think that AT&T and Motorola are pretty eager to get this one on the market.  So I would expect them to hold true to their release date.
